Paris, March 8, 2021 - For the accounting profession, time seemed to speed up during the pandemic of 2020. On the one hand, more than ever before, accountants have been called upon to play their role in supporting business leaders, and on the other hand, the benefits of digitisation of procedures and its corollary, teleworking, have been revealed to their full extent.
In this context, more than ever, accountants need to renew themselves. To this end, Inqom, which offers new, innovative and mature solutions for automating accounting production based on Artificial Intelligence, has joined forces with Archipels , aconsortium created by La Poste, EDF, Engie and Caisse des Dépôts, for its document certification platform based on blockchain technology.
This partnership will enable Inqom to provide forgery-proof digital fingerprints on strategic company documents, such as the Fichier des Écritures Comptables (Accounting Records File) or the tax bundle.
Hervé Bonazzi, CEO of Archipels, said: "We are delighted to enable Inqom to take the certification of strategic accounting documents one step further with the blockchain. This is a new step to meet our ambition to bring as many companies as possible into our unique offer, in order to become a reference in data security for companies and individuals in Europe".
Romain Passilly, CEO of Inqom, says: "This partnership with Archipels is a further step for Inqom to enable accounting firms to become the digital trusted third party for businesses, we are very pleased."
About Archipels :
Archipels, a consortium created by La Poste, EDF, Engie and Caisse des Dépôts, is developing a documentary certification platform based on blockchain technology, the prototype of which was presented at Vivatech in 2019.
Archipels' value proposition is based on a solution to guarantee the authenticity of documents used to guarantee identity.
To do this, Archipels' solution enables the identity of individuals and legal entities to be verified - particularly in the context of KYC procedures - from a repository of digital fingerprints provided directly by the issuers.
Archipels' ambition is to become the reference provider in the certification of identity-related data of companies and individuals in Europe.
